Ben has comprehensive knowledge of the building industry with over 12 years experience in construction.
Ben’s earlier years in construction were spent in the Southern Gold Coast region, building project homes for local and interstate large-scale builders. In 2004 Ben worked as a construction Supervisor with Sea Breeze Homes a well-renowned boutique building company, which delivers large architecturally, designed beachfront homes.
After parting ways with Sea Breeze, Ben pursued his own business opportunities and in 2006 created Ben Evans Carpentry, a successful contract carpentry business.
Some of the projects Ben Evans Carpentry has been involved with include large-scale commercial projects such as Coles in Yamba/Tweed Heads, Element Building Burleigh heads, First Choice Liquor Tweed Heads, projects that have had a pivotal role in igniting his current interest and expertise in shop and super-market fit-outs.
Ben prides himself on delivering the highest standard in building works employing rigorous attention to detail, quality craftsmanship, all delivered within efficient time frames. He has a good working knowledge of modern shop fit-out design and develops great client relationships to ensure that customer satisfaction is utmost priority.
Tom has a diverse background in the construction and development industries.
With a qualification in Construction Management, Tom initiated his career on large scale mixed use and residential construction projects before transferring to the United Kingdom as a Senior Project Surveyor.
Tom undertook 3 years as a Commercial Manager on Construction sites in the UK development the Great Ormond Street Hospital and Darwin Centre 2 phase of the Natural History Museum located in South Kensington before returning to Brisbane to fill a Project Managers position for prominent East Coast Developer, Consolidated Properties.
Under Consolidated Properties, Tom honed his skills in the retail sector delivering Coles Nerang Fair, Coles Nambour, Woolworth Market Place Albany Creek, Woolworth Innisfail to name just a few. Tom not only project managed delivery of these centres, he more appropriately coordinated incentivised tenancy fitouts on behalf of the landlord.
Tom has had dealings with the nationals, such as McDonalds, right through to the local baker, kiosk user and tobacconist. Having worked with both Coles and Woolworths, he has experience in dealing with the most complex of leases, fitout briefs and Landlord Fitouts Requirements, positioning him perfectly to negotiate on his Clients behalf where the expectations of the Vendor are unreasonable or simply not applicable.
